Samuel Lockett, 92 of Bradenton died June 22, 2010. Visitation 5:00-8:00pm, Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th Street, West, Palmetto, FL 34221. Interment Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. Survivors include four nieces, Dolly (William) Cash, Shirley Sutton, Jonette Kilgore, all of Sanford, FL, Alberta (Louis) Avery, of Ft. Washington, MD; two nephews: Vonice Wynn, Troy Brown both of Orlando, FL, many great nieces, nephews, special caregivers, Curtis and Minnie Blunt, a devotred friend, David Fuller, long extended family, the Blunt family's children and grandchildren, the Smith family and "his" St. Paul Baptist Church family.
