Joann Sancho Workman, 68 of Stamford, CT, formerly of Bradenton, FL died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Stamford Hospital. Born to the late Ada B. McCoy and Joseph Earl Sancho of Bradenton, FL. Joann graduated from Lincoln Memorial High School in Palmetto, FL. She moved to Stamford, CT where she met her husband Edgar Workamn. Joann was a member of Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Stamford, CT. She was a dedicated mother, cherished friend and loving grandmother. Joann is survived by her children: Rubin, Lathell (Cathy), Lamour, Gisele (Terry) and Candice, her grandchildren, Eliza, Iroquois, Lachell, Maniell, Devon and Stephen, her sisters: Florence (Bishop F. D.) Simon, Maxine Horne, Carrie Lou Gilyard, Ruby Harris and Tilda Hines, her brothers: Lathell Sancho and Michael Steadman; several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
